Akron Police say an as yet unidentified man was killed while crossing the street in the 1600 block of Brittain Road, near the Fred Nimmer Apartments, on Tuesday night at around 6:05PM.

Right now, they are unsure  whether the pedestrian had the right of way, or whether the driver of the Ford Explorer that hit him entered the crosswalk against a traffic signal.

Now,  they’re asking anyone who may have seen what happened, to contact the Akron Police Accident Reconstruction Unit at 330-375-2506.
