The Student Athlete of the Week segment is powered by NECA-IBEW and Akron Children’s Hospital.

This week’s athletes are from Stow-Munroe Falls High School.

 

Kennady Dodds, a senior on the Stow-Munroe Falls High School girls basketball team, is a four-year varsity starter whose consistency, discipline, and leadership set a standard within the program. She excels academically with a 4.156 cumulative GPA while demonstrating responsibility through over two years of employment at GEMCO Medical. With plans to pursue a degree in nursing, Kennady exemplifies the balance, character, and commitment of an outstanding student-athlete.

Will McCloud, is a junior and a 3 year starter on the wrestling team. He is a leader in the program and a team captain. Will excels in the classroom as well with a 3.8gpa. Additionally, Will helps around the community with his teammates with snow removal for the elderly and he donates 3-6 hours a week helping instruct the youth wrestlers.
