One of the nine people injured in a shooting at an Air Bnb, short-term rental in Bath Township last weekend, has died.

The Summit County Medical Examiner reports 18 year old Elijah Wells of Akron was struck multiple times by bullets, and passed away at Cleveland-Clinic Akron General early this morning, where he had been being treated for his injuries.

His death is being investigated as a homicide now, by the Medical Examiner and Bath Township Police.

So far, no one has yet been arrested in connection with the shooting which took place at a birthday party in the 900 block of Top of the Hill Drive, shortly after midnight, on Sunday morning.

Police say the shooter, or shooters, opened fire on the first floor of the home, striking a mix of juveniles and adults, then fled the scene.
