Akron Police say a woman was stabbed after she got of a Metro Bus, right across from Summa Hospital and East Market Street, Wednesday, September 10.
When police arrived on the scene, they say a Summa Health Police Officer was applying pressure to the victim’s wounds, which though serious; are not believed to be life-threatening.
They say it all started as an argument on the bus, which turned violent when the suspect, identified as 35 year old Chavella Dorris, charged at the other woman after they got off the bus, and stabbed her multiple times with a box cutter. She’s been charged with Felonious Assault, and booked into the Summit County Jail.
