While most older adults are likely well aware that they have to save money and make good investments to ensure a financially stable retirement; not everyone knows exactly what to do with themselves once the fateful day they no longer have to show up for work arrives.
Sure, sitting around on the coach eating chips and binging Netflix has its charms, as does playing golf, taking naps, and going on that long-awaited trip to Europe.
But then what? With the average life expectancy of Americans now at 78.4 years, and many people living well into their 90’s; someone retiring in their mid to late 60’s could be facing 30 years plus of just hanging around, driving their spouse nuts, and maybe getting a little depressed along the way.
