It’s no secret that older actors “age out” of most roles past the age of 50, at least when it comes to movies, TV, and traditional theater.
But what you might not know, is that older actors still have a shot at glory at the Civic Theater, when they join Associate Director Val Renner’s “Boom Theater” Company.
I talked to Val about it this week, and found out why she started the community theater company, who can join, and how you can participate either as a member of the company, or by attending one of their upcoming shows.
