This week’s athletes are from Copley-Fairlawn.
Rylee Kulick is a Freshman on the Girls Swimming Team with a 3.9 GPA. Rylee is an extremely talented swimmer and she has risen to the top in our program in just her first year competing at the varsity level. Rylee holds the top times for Copley swimming in the 200 IM, 200 Freestyle, 100 free and 500 free. Rylee won the Suburban League championship this year in the 500m freestyle and 200 IM. For her efforts at the Suburban League championship meet, Rylee was selected as the Akron Beacon Journal Student-Athlete of the Week. Rylee is an exceptionally dedicated swimmer and has a bright future ahead.
Lincoln Brockmeyer is a Senior on the Boys Basketball Team with a 3.5 GPA. Lincoln is a gifted basketball player; his stats are 16ppg, 2, assists/game, 6 reb/game. He’s a model student, and a leader on the court, in the classroom, and in our community. His dedication and commitment extend far beyond the court. He consistently demonstrates a strong work ethic in school, maintaining an excellent academic record while taking a challenging course load. He is a natural leader, respected by his peers and teachers alike. His positive attitude, collaborative spirit, and willingness to help others create a supportive and enriching environment for everyone around him. After graduation Lincoln will be heading to Allegeny College.
