It wasn’t your typical hit and run, that’s for sure.

When Akron Fire arrived at 1506 South Arlington Street a little before 9PM on Sunday night, they found a 5 ft by 5 inch hole in the side of Holland’s 24 Hour Laundromat, but no trace of the vehicle that crashed into it.

Officials say no one was hurt, but the crash did cause water from damaged water pipes to to run inside.

Fire crews were able to shut off the water and electricity though, to prevent further damage.
