Akron’s new Fire Station #12 isn’t quite ready for prime time yet, but it’s certainly shaping up, and will be open soon.
While the exact date hasn’t been announced yet, Akron Mayor Shammas Malik tells us it will be in a “matter of weeks.”
The new facility at 112 South Hawkins Ave, will replace the old, and very out of date existing Fire Station #12, which is located just a few blocks away at 1852 West Market Street.
