The stage is officially set for the 2025 OHSAA Football State Championships at Tom Benson Hall of Fame Stadium in Canton — with powerhouse programs, undefeated seasons, and championship rematches highlighting this year’s slate.

Division II – Thursday, Dec. 4 at 7 p.m.
Avon (13-1) vs. Cincinnati Anderson (14-0)
A rematch of last year’s Division II title game, which Avon won 20–13. This marks Avon’s third straight championship appearance and Anderson’s fourth overall.

Division IV – Friday, Dec. 5 at 10:30 a.m.
Cleveland Glenville (11-3) vs. Shelby (14-0)
Glenville returns for its fifth title game appearance (with titles in 2022 and 2023), while Shelby makes its first championship appearance in school history.

Division III – Friday, Dec. 5 at 3 p.m.
Toledo Central Catholic (11-4) vs. Columbus Bishop Watterson (13-0)
A trilogy matchup — these teams have met in the last two title games. TCC won in 2023; Watterson won in 2024. Both programs enter their eighth championship appearance.

Division I – Friday, Dec. 5 at 7:30 p.m.
Cincinnati St. Xavier (11-2) vs. Olentangy Orange (14-0)
St. Xavier returns for its eighth championship appearance (four titles). Orange makes its first-ever title game appearance.

Division VII – Saturday, Dec. 6 at 10:30 a.m.
St. Henry (13-1) vs. Jeromesville Hillsdale (13-1)
St. Henry appears in its ninth championship game (six titles). Hillsdale returns for its second title shot.

Division VI – Saturday, Dec. 6 at 3 p.m.
Kirtland (14-0) vs. Hopewell-Loudon (13-1)
Kirtland continues its dynasty with its 14th championship appearance and seven titles. Hopewell-Loudon plays for its third championship appearance.

Division V – Saturday, Dec. 6 at 7:30 p.m.
Wheelersburg (14-0) vs. Liberty Center (14-0)
A battle of unbeatens. Wheelersburg enters its third title game (two titles). Liberty Center returns for its sixth (one title in 1997).

Eight divisions. Three days. Seven state champions will be crowned in Canton.
