The U.S. Department of Justice has announced the results of Operation Relentless Justice, a nationwide crackdown targeting child sexual abuse offenders.
The two-week operation involved all 56 FBI field offices and resulted in 205 child victims located and 293 arrests nationwide. Federal officials say the effort focused on identifying, tracking, and arresting offenders involved in child sexual exploitation, including online abuse, trafficking, and the production and distribution of child sexual abuse material.
In northeast Ohio, federal grand juries in the Northern District of Ohio returned indictments against three men:
– Jeremy J. Miller, 34, of Maple Heights
– Tevon J. Hunter, 30, of Lorain
– Anthony C. Hayes Jr., 44, of Maple Heights
All three are charged with federal offenses involving the receipt, distribution, or possession of child sexual abuse material. Prosecutors say some of the material involved prepubescent children under the age of 12.
Attorney General Pamela Bondi said the operation sends a clear message that those who prey on children will be found and prosecuted. FBI leaders emphasized that protecting children and rescuing victims remains a top priority.
The investigation was conducted as part of Project Safe Childhood, a long-standing federal initiative to combat child exploitation and abuse. Authorities urge anyone with information about suspected child exploitation to contact the FBI or submit a tip online.
