The Wine Opener is a national wine tasting series to benefit the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. Held inmore than 35 cities, from San Diego to Miami, The Wine Opener will reach an audience of thousandsnationwide. Locally, the Akron Wine Opener will be held on March 12, 2010 at Rosemont CountryClub. The Akron Wine Opener will be a relaxed, yet lively, evening for more than 450 expected guests.

From wine novices to advanced wine enthusiasts, The Wine Opener is a casual and fun evening for allexperience levels! SIP GREAT WINES poured by international and domestic wineries sponsored byRegency Wine Store. SAVOR GREAT CUISINE presented at festive tasting stations, where the area'shottest chefs prepare their specialties just for you. Along with delicious food and wine pairings,guests will be treated to lively auctions and entertainment.

Cystic Fibrosis Foundation
Cystic fibrosis (CF) is a genetic disease affecting 30,000 children and adults in the United States. CFcauses the body to produce a thick, sticky mucus which impairs digestion and leads to life-threateninglung infections. The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation was established in 1955 to assure the development ofthe means to cure and control cystic fibrosis and to improve the quality of life for those with thedisease. Ticket Price
For a $60 ticket ($40 tax deductible), guests receive entrance into the event, all wine and food tastings, a keepsake tasting glass and a tasting journal (the event program). $110 VIP ticket ($70 taxdeductible) holders receive all of the above plus a unique gift item and a special pre-event winetasting, lead by the wine supplier, featuring special wines not available for tasting at the main event.
