Summit County 9-11 Remembrance Ohio Building, 175 S. Main Street Akron
Summit County Executive Russell M. Pry will be sponsoring the creation of the 9th annual 9/11 Remembrance Art Project, FREE Standing. The event is free and open to the public. Citizens who participate will be asked to sign a 6', wooden peace pole with red or blue markers as a way to permanently document their hope for peace. The pole, meant to represent a traditional flag pole, will feature a metal cap and stand upon a matching metal lined base. Four directional beams of light, symbolizing the world famous Tribute in Light installation at Ground Zero in New York City where the twin towers once stood, will be angled towards the pole to showcase signatures. Streetsboro Shredding Event 2094 State Route 303
The City ofStreetsboro will be holding a free document shredding event for its residents.  Simply bring items tobe shredded to the city’s Service Department parking lot, located at 2094State Route 303, and place them in one of the locked bins.The bins will then be emptied into a shredding machine forsafe and confidential destruction of documents.  All shredded paper will berecycled.  Before placing items in bins, please remove binder clips, rubberbands, binders, paperclips, report covers, hanging files and any plastic. Staples are OK; there is a limit of two file boxes or shopping bags. The Streetsboro Christian Cupboard will also be on sitecollecting non-perishable food items.  Most needed are peanut butter, boxedcereal, canned tuna, canned vegetables, canned beef stew, canned soup, cannedbeans, pasta and rice.

Multisport Festival Portage Lakes State Park

LCPL Tim Conner Golf Outing Chenoweth Golf Course
